Where are you located?
We are located on the corner of 6th and Tacoma Ave South, inside Malarkey’s Pool and Brew. From the Pantages and Rialto, go west up 9th to Tacoma Ave. Turn right..go three blocks. Our address is 445 Tacoma Ave South which is a bit confusing. Just look for the comedy sign on the corner of 6th and Tacoma. Other landmarks…three blocks down from the County Jail and across the street from the meth clinic!
What is your phone number?
253-961-4262 Call anytime for reservations or information of any kind.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes, this is a 21 and over club. However, we are working toward a solution soon to allow patrons under 21.
Can you buy tickets online or at the door?
You can find our tickets on www.brownpapertickets.com. You can also buy your tickets at the door. Although we can usually accommodate last minute ticket sales, your online ticket assures that you will have a seat. It is advised to call ahead and reserve space for your party and inform us that you will be buying tickets at the door.
Do you serve alcohol?
Malarkey’s provides our club with a full bar, not to mention a great food and appetizer menu.
Do you require a minimum purchase?
No, unlike many other comedy clubs, we do not. We just require that you enjoy yourself.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes we do! What could be better than a gift of comedy? Please call or e-mail for more information.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts to active Military and their guests with ID. For our general $15 events, you receive $3 off. If you sign up for our e-mail list, you have a chance of winning free tickets, and we will often offer discounts and other perks via e-mail. We also offer discounts to large groups and private shows. Please call or e-mail for more information on large group discounts.
How do I know your comedian for the week is someone I would like?
Comedy is subjective. Most comedians have a website, facebook page, bio or YouTube clips that could give you an idea of what to expect. If you are unsure and want guidance, feel free to call us and get our opinion.
How do you handle someone that is disruptive?
We want our patrons to have a good time and enjoy the show. And we want our comedians to be given the ability to do their best in entertaining you. Should a patron become disruptive we will politely ask them to contain themselves, but we will not hesitate in asking someone to leave that is ruining the experience for others.
